Answer to your Health Question

Question: Do doctors ever treat bladder infections with a shot? Amy

Answer: Dear Amy,

Urinary tract infections are usually treated with antibiotics that are prescribed by a doctor. Prescriptions are usually for 1 to 2 weeks, although the infection may improve much sooner.
