Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) is a term used to describe the disabilities caused by prenatal exposure to alcohol.

When a fetus is exposed to alcohol it can suffer from preventable birth defects such as Spina Bifida and Downs Syndrome. There is no cure for this syndrome and the damage is irreversible.
