Answer to your Health Question Question: I am 27 years old. I have had my period for like 15 years. I have 2 kids and my period is always on time and the same, days 2-3 heavier and some cramping and they last 7 days. This month I had them for 3 days and they we not anything like they usually are. Am I pregnant? or is there something else that can be wrong. Thank you, Tanya Answer: Dear Tanya, Changes in menstruation are not uncommon. If pregnancy is suspected, the best way to confirm it is by taking an at-home pregnancy test or by visiting a doctor and having a blood test. If your future periods show noticeable changes in duration and amount in bleeding, a visit to the doctor is recommended. |
