Do you know a natural treatment for hot flashes of menopause?

Dear Alice ,

Hot flashes, also known as hot flushes, or night sweats, are one of the most common symptoms of menopause.

They are caused for changing hormone levels.

Hot flashes, happens in 4 out of 5 women who start natural menopause.

A Natural treatment for hot flashes would be:

-Exercise at least 30 minutes every day.

-Avoid in your diet

Caffeine containing soft drinks
Spicy foods
Acidic foods (pickles, citrus, tomatoes)
Hydrogenated or saturated fats (meat, margarine)

-Avoid in your life:

The North American Menopause Society in 2000 recommended that 40 - 80mg of isoflavones daily may help relieve menopausal symptoms - that is 1 - 2 servings of soy products.

The most common products used for a natural treatment (without scientific evidence) are:

Black cohosh.
Red clover.
Vitamin E (400 - 800 IU).
Dong Quai.
Wild Yam .
Evening Primose Oil.
Flaxseed oil.
Licorice root.
Chasteberry (also known as Vitex agnus castus)
