Answer to your Health Question

Question: : Dear Sir/Madam
Please could you tell me if an air bubble or bubbles cause any harm if accedently injected into the body ?
Thanks.

Answer:

Air bubbles can cause harm to a person if injected into a vein.
Air bubbles can cause heart attack or stroke,if they having been injected into a vein
Bubbles in an insulin syringe won't harm if they're injected into the body, but because they're taking up space in the syringe they can change the insulin dose.

Contrary to urban legend, you cannot die from a tiny air bubble.
Air bubbles are only a concern when an injection is given into the vein.
