Hello and thank you for the excellent advice for my previous question.

When I previously submitted my question regarding vitamins (reprinted below) I neglected to say that I also take calcium ascorbate crystals (buffered vitamin C) approx. 1200mg. usually in pink grapefruit juice at bedtime.

With regards to the vitamin C when would be the best time to incorporate taking it?

My original question was: "I take prevacid once a day, I am also supposed to take Metamucil once a day, I also take individual vitamins A,E,B and D and two antioxidants: Pycnogenol and grape seed extract. Should I take all these at once or is there a more optimal time to ingest each of these meds and supplements?"

Calcium Ascorbate is a natural compound of Vitamin C and Calcium.

You can take calcium supplements at any time during the day.

Calcium is absorbed most efficiently when it's taken in amounts of 500 or 600 milligrams (mg) or less at one time. If you take 1,000 mg of calcium a day, split it into two or more doses over the course of the day.

According to the National Osteoporosis Foundation, Prevacid blocks the creation of stomach acid, which is required by many calcium supplements for proper absorption.
