cause of my fingers falling asleep (tingling sensation). This started
about 3 weeks ago. At first it was just at night while in bed. It
has become more frequent as of late. At times they will " fall
asleep" as I am just standing in line at a store or speaking

Numbness and tingling in the fingers
is a common first sign of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. In many cases, this
condition also has the following symptoms:
- Pain in hand/wrist
- Cold hands
- Dropping objects
- Loss of hand grip strenght
Other causes for tingling and
numb fingers include:
- Nerve injury
- Abnormal levels of calcium, potassium and sodium
- Deficiency in Vitamin B12
- Certain medications
- Lack of blood supply
