Question: I have a problem and I am really scared about it. On 25-05-2006 I had sexual relations with one lady and I was using a condom but on 03-june-2006 I felt that my body was weak and also my sight was weak. Also one week after I was feeling like fainting and had fever. After one month in July, I started feeling pain in my muscles and muscle spams. In August 2006, after one more month one brown dot appeared in my neck near under my ear. I had a check up and they told me that ALT and AST in my blood is abnormal. ALT is 200 and AST is 58. Your ALT and AST levels are very high. Normal levels for ALT are between 7-56 and for AST between 5-40. High levels of these enzymes usually indicate liver problems such as Hepatitis.

Common symptoms of Hepatitis include:

- Fever
- Muscle aches
- Nausea/vomiting
- Abdominal pain
- Diarrhea
- Fatigue
- Jaundice
- Dark urine

A doctor can perform certain tests to diagnose hepatitis.

Hepatitis B is the most serious form and can be transmitted sexually. This form of hepatitis has between 4 to 25 weeks of incubation.
