Question: I have a lump on my vagina. It is on the underside of one of the lips. It started out small and is now growing bigger and is extremely painful, even to walk.What is it and will it go away without medication or a doctor visit? Please help. Jasmin

That lump could be a boil, an infected hair follicle. Boils are very common and usually disappear by themselves in 4 to 10 days.
