Question: Sometimes
if I bend over forward, example, tieng a shoelace, I get a tremendous
pain underneath right breast. The only thing I think about is this
is the URQ, which contains the liver. Can you shed any light on what
may be going on? Thank you. Claudia
Answer: Dear Claudia,
Pain that occurs when bending
over in the liver area may have different causes. Sharp pains can
occur when there are problems in the intestinal tract or in the urinary
tract such as kidney stones or kidney infections.
Pain in that area could also be
caused by back problems such a bulging disc.
